pdd-nos 6-year-old plays t-ball, leonia nj sports program, with help of two volunteer coaches and grandma at the camera. jack is probably the only handicapped child on the team, but with help he did pretty well.

  • too bad jack did not keep up his interest in tee Ball.

in subsequent games he was more interested in sifting dirt than playing, sigh. but he likes to watch this video a lot.

  • @alanwilz baseball is a famous worldwide sport, fighting isnt

  • @Reblotic

baseball is not a sport. it's a game.

motor racing , mountain climbing , fighting......those are sports ;)

  • @alanwilz - be a "fun game" . They see some things with a literal clarity we NT's don't always possess.

I liken it to the fun of whacking a hundred balls at a driving range ; as compared to spending 5 hours in slow motion actually playing a round of golf. They are not influenced by convention. Baseball makes no sense to them. Hitting a ball a couple times makes sense.

  • Alright.....curling is the most boring sport in the world. I will grant you that , Reb.

My son is the same way. We'll do something that I like , which he was previously incapable of attending to ( a simple driving simulation game ) and he will do it PRETTY WELL. About as well as this T-ball video , roughly. But then , as you described - he'll quickly lose interest. I think there is general lack of understanding at that age ( for PDD kids) as to WHY it is so "rule-oriented" if it's supposed to

  • @alanwilz baseballs the best sport ever

  • Baseball's the most boring game on earth anyway :) He'll watch this and it'll make him want to try something more interesting , I'm sure !
