This is the complete documentary film based upon the life of Joseph Smith who was divinely called upon to restore the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ despite great personal hardship to do so. Joseph sacrificed everything including his life rather than deny the answer to a simple prayer he made to God as a young 14 yr old boy. I know he is a prophet of God and I love that he made it possible for the gospel of Jesus Christ to be restored in these days never to be taken from the earth until Jesus Christ comes again to reign in power and love upon the earth.

I love the part when Joseph told him to pay his fine and than gives him the horse. it shows what jesus did for us and if we do our best he will give us that extra boost.

For those who don't know, this version is the one that played in the visitor's centers when this movie was newer. The one on the MM channel is an edited version of this. The same movie, the same footage, just set up differently. Instead of being narrated by Joseph Smith and the story of the young woman and her father, it's narrated by Lucy Mack Smith. A rel. small difference, but not as good in my humble opinion
