  • Cor! What tasty playing!

  • As I listen to the music in a holistic way I find the guitar hero discussion below tiresome and therefore I wouldn't forget to mention the other musicians and the lyrics.

  • Don't believe I ever get tired of this music. It both express really swinging variations together with lyrics that all together catch me/you in a happy blues mood. First discovered him in the summer of 2009 and still only have the record "Siftin' thru' ashes" so far. Matts and his musicians deliver the best music I ever heard and I listen to lot's of other stuff than blues.

  • Hi I wish you success

  • Fuck this swings.

  • Rminds me Warren Haynes but in a good way.Nice shuffle Blues!

  • @guitarmaan he might be over-rated compared to other great but unknown artists, but if you think his tone is bad, go see a doctor ?

  • Yes, Rory Gallagher was one of the true greats of guitar. Saw him 'live' a couple of times, from the front row, just incredible, one of the most natural guitarists ever, and such a sad loss to music. Can't say that Matt is quite in that league, as yet anyway, but he's a great talent for sure. I know not many will agree, but I actually think John Mayer is a very good player with a good sound and feel. Better than Bonnamassa by a long way. Just because Mayer is too handsome creates jelousy.

  • @nickwellings i agree as well, bonamassa has little expression, he's technically good, but he has no personality with the instrument. fuck all feel. does anybody listen to the late great rory gallagher. the most under rated guitarist of all time in my opinion. listen to "walk on hot coals" irish tour 74, the full version
