Compaq Mini 110-1040DX updated to Mac OS X 10.5.7 and using 6 cell battery.

This is my first use of the Compaq Mini 110 with the MacOS X 10.5.7 and the 6 cell battery. The battery indicator is "slimbattery" and it began by saying it had 10hrs of charge, but it told the truth once I started using the mini very heavily... it was not allowed to dim the display or screen save, and I got almost 5hrs from it... not too shabby... imagine if it had the chance to dim the display and screensave... :)

Which pack did you use to put mac os 10.5.7 on your mini laptop?

I used ideneb 10_5_5 and the combo update with bobby potlucks tutorial from myhpmini dt com

Did you upgrade the RAM to 2GB, if so, which stick did you get?

@goboss281 i have the same laptop but i tried to boot from the os x snow leopard hazard edition dvd but it shows the apple logo for 2 sec and reboots without installing it, please help me !!

I used ideneb 10 5 5 and then the combo update. I bought the battery direct from hp.
