Today was just as I expected: Yesterday I was way over my calories and today it was right in stride. I felt nice and fluffy today too.

As always on Mondays I have my training session, which always seems to curb my appetite.

Just for the record, I prefer the simpler meals insteadof the recipe based meals. Just so much quicker and easier for my day with work and all.

I hope you implement this technique that Kristina gave me and it works for you!

Breakdown is carbs/protein/fat
6am=2 tbsp apple cider vinegar & 8 oz water

7am=Green Smoothie:
- 2 carrots = 59 cals, 14/1/0
- 2 cps spinach = 14 cals, 2/2/0 (** Notice the cals!)
- 2 bananas = 140 cals, 36/2/1
- 1 apple = 125 cals, 32/0/1
- 1 cp acai berry juice = 125 cals, 29/1/2
TOTAL: 463 cals, 113/6/4

8am = Banana = 140 cals, 36/2/1

11am = Post-workout Protein shake:
1 scoop protein with 4 oz water=130 cals=7/20/3

11.30 am= whole cantaloupe=285 cals, 68/7/2

4pm=Raw Soup:
- 1 tomato=38 cals, 8/2/1
- 2 stalks celery = 10 cals, 2/0/0
- 2 pieces squash = 103 cals, 22/8/1
- 3 oz sundried tomatoes=70 cals = 15/4/1
TOTAL: 221 cals, 47/14/3

TOTAL for DAY: 1239 cals, 271/48/13

Ratios = 78% /14% / 8%

  • Great point! Pure junk! I think this junk poisons our mind so we don't think rationally, very much an addiction. I always try to eat my fruit with some greens, I think that helps me control the amount of fruit I consume. I love sweet, but you can over eat dates and figs which are fine in moderation. Keep that junk out of your body and fill it up with luscious fuit, God's perfect food! Junk belongs in the landfill not your body! Pow pow pow is right, knock it down and out! Luck to you.

  • so true... that boxed junk is not food... its a great idea to just face your food addictions head on and reprogram your mind towards RAW healthy goodness.
