Arcadia's Forest

Arcadia is a place in Pelloponiso , Greece, full of beautiful , massive , pine trees forests. A place of ancient origins , with people who welcome visitors and share with them, their art at making local products like , pine tree honey, pasta , mermelade from wild fruits, houses that are made purely of stone. This also one of the places where Artemis had been worshiped , the ancient godess of the hunt. Arcadia according to the myth was founded by Arcas the son of of one of Litos followers . Lito was the mother of Artemis and Apollo. Arcas is also connected with the word "arctos" which means "Bear" in ancient greek. Bear was one of the animals that Artemis love to transfer to. Because of that bears have also been sacred in ancient greece. Bear still dwell in the greek forests even today, they are protected by organisation like "Arctouros" and like the sea turtle Kareta Kareta and the sea lion monahous Monahous are considere some of the most endagered species in Europe.

This song is abit special, since its the very first time I use my actual voice to sing, dark mystical choirs. What you hear is my voice , I only applied some reverb. Hope you enjoy the song.

Gorgeous melody? I'm sorry but for a minute there i thought i clicked the wrong link,. That doesnt sound like heaven it sounds like the soundtrack of a scary movie or some kind of ritual i dont want to know about.

Hi ..there is an Arcadia on Lake Michgan near Sleeping Bear Dunes..seems to relate some how.

@guitarharpsichord if you have seen my more info box you will see that there is a connection between the word Arcadia and Bear. Arcadia is also related to a form of ideology very close to Native American ideology about the connection of man to mother nature. Arcadias were deeply connected with the forests, rivers, montains and lakes, many of their god were natures spirits or related to nature. Bear was the sacred animal of Goddess Artemis.

So as you see there is a big connection.

Hi ..yes I noticed the Bear theme..& was thinking there might be some connection with American Indian ideology..the Sleeping Bear is the mother waiting for her cubs..now 2 islands off the shore.
