home gym-crossfit

Home gym -crossfit . I progressed from a Door way chin up bar, then bought some weights and a bar off Kijiji. Then a squat rack and worked out in the basement. Then created a great gym in my garage!! Just posting what I've got so far which might give others some ideas to improve their home gyms! Price per month? $0.00 Priceless!!

Well the ball isnt equally weighted which was the first problem! haha I filled it with sand and then put grocery bags inside to take up some space. NO it doesnt bounce back. But it was cheap! And it makes the workouts more fun when things arent perfect!

So does Kijiji and treadmill factory deliver outside Canada? Your garage gym is awsome, working on my 1 car gym now, suggestions?

@raven195 I found that you have way more good companies in the states than Canada does for Crossfit equipment. But Treadmill factory got on the ball and made a Crossfit specific section. It's terrible trying to buy something and get it over the border without paying an arm and a leg! Kijiji is a local site for people selling and buying things. That way you can drive to pick up what you've purchased because all the ads are just for your immediate area that you live in ! Saving shipping things!

No I meant I wouldnt go back to a "regular gym" now that I started Crossfit! Love not having to figure out my workouts everyday. I follow the local box gym for their workouts!

I bought them at Treadmill factory in Toronto. They actually have a crossfit section with all the stuff we use! They have the best prices!

How did the basketball wall ball work for you? I'm thinking about making one but I am concerned it would be too much trama for my wrist and that it would not bounce back far enough off the wall. Thanks :)

Nice Home Gym you have, Curious as to why you would not go back to a Cross Fit Box. My closest box is 50 miles from me, fees are about $150.oo a month, and myself being a newbie to this type training feel I can purchase a great deal of Cross Fit type equipment for my already Home Weight room (Mine is more along the lines of equiped for body building). I will be sure to check out the web sites you mentioned as well. Again Thanks for posting.
