A high power laser can easily pop black or colored balloons. A laser pointer can also pop light colored balloons if they have been sharpied.

If a high power laser pointer can't pop a balloon, then it is normally a problem with the balloon reflecting too much light, not the laser pointer. IS laser pointer IS cool
