@rketer no shit cause gliders are juicing euros..... or they are 6'10 and if your 6'10 in america your playing basketball and making money like little wayne
-
Very impressive its seems like most collage throwers who excell at shot put often use the rotational technique i mean you dont see many gliders throwing big like this well in the U.S. anyway
-
professional level. that's all I'm saying
-
watching all these vids....unbelievable! im only in the 8th grade, throwing the 8lb. shot, only throwing 40'.....these guys r great
-
i know wat u mean

he has a really good chance at the all time record set by Barnes. I cant waite to see him throw in the olympics, the trial throw is only 60 feet and he's already throwing that far.. amazing

hes my brothers best friends brother, so i know him
this makes me feel so bad. i tried the spin for awhile but i just couldnt get it down. its hard as hell.

Ryan is only a sophomore at Arizona State and he set the National Division I Indoor Shot Put Record at 71'-03.50" on March 15, at the NCAA Division I 2008 Indoor Championship held at the Univ. of Arkansas in Fayetteville. Hopefully someone will post a video of that toss. Congratulations Ryan!

I got to see that throw and my coach got a video of it. I'll have to see if i can get ahold of it to put it up. It was pretty insane. Not only that, but this guy is a real class act. He was pretty humble about it afterwards, which is good to see.

delmole85,
How tall did Ryan look to you. I guessed him at 6' 1" but he is lised on the Arizona State's website as 6'-3". As broad as he he he may be taller than he appears. Thanks

In 2007 Noah's PR was 67'-5.5". I don't know if he has a better throw to date. The interesting thing is that Noah and Ryan Whiting are both 6'-1" and Adam Nelson is 6'.
The spinning technique has allowed smaller/quicker athletes to compete with the big boys.
