@INSANEGUITARIST101 It outranges the M82? That's why it's effective range is 1,500m compared to the M82's 1,800m? The AS50 is also slightly less accurate at 1.5 MOA compared to the M82's sub-MOA with match ammo. Also, we didn't pay the British to build the AS50. The AS50 is a joint project between USSPECOPS and Accuracy International, designed specifically for the SEALs.

@Sbarney37873 The best snipers in the world dont shoot a 338 at 3600 so go somewhere else and lie.
-
@dalligator the SASR is a .50 cal rifle. The M82a3 SASR ( Special Applications Scoped Rifle) is a 50 cal.
-
@dalligator Correction, the Barret M82 is a heavy SASR, read the first paragraph of 'Barret M82' on Wikipedia. And I quote: "The M82 is a recoil-operated, semi-automatic anti-materiel rifle developed by the American Barrett Firearms Manufacturing company. A heavy SASR (Special Application Scoped Rifle), it is used by many units and armies around the world."

@08WRX : No SASR's muzzle flash and gas expulsion does NOT look like that. Also the SASR does not shoot a .50 round. And only a .50 round can make a sweet sweet sound like that

is that sniper out of uniform he wearing some kinda shoes not boots

The Barret isn't a sniper rifle. It doesn't meet the requirements. It is a SASR, Special Application Scoped Rifle, used by snipers. An effective weapon nonetheless.
