The greatest appeal of the Beatles was that they look like they were having fun, and they didnt sound like the greatest technical band(early Beatles before Bob Dylan introduce them to pot) but good enough to get other people to make bands and help create the garage sound. Also they look like a team not one star and his backup band but wanting to see all four members.
