Hass anyone noticed tht both adams and marys eyes are likee really pale blue almost like clear yet really pretty??

@theluvbug1988 When you are blind or lose one of your five senses -- in some way -- the others that you do have work for the one you lost. So in this case, Adam uses hearing to help him. If she picked up the fork and used it, it would have made a noise. He didn't hear anything, so he knew she wasn't using her fork. [This is just my opinion. The writers could have made a mistake.]

@theluvbug1988 You would be amazed at how many things blind people can hear. He can hear that she does not pic up her fork for exampled. :)

@theluvbug1988 I think he knew that she was eating with her fingers because he didn't hear the utensils. I also think it's just intuition, that he knows she's not going to eat correctly the first time because of her attitude so far.

@Emotional2000 It's not confusing. It's senses. He could tell she was using her hands for eating if he did not here the clinking of one of the utensils that were given to her. And remember, Adam has been in her shoes. And he has been through every thing that she has gone through or like any other student he had.

@theluvbug1988 Adam confuses me. I never know when he is seeing and not seeing. Some scenes he looks like he is not blind, while others its the complete oppossite. However, he is suppose to be blind in this epi.
