Nick: Umm... I gotta get to class [leaves]
-Lunch-2 Hours Later-
Nick: [sees Demi, sighs, goes to Selena] Hey Sel
Selena: Hey. Wheres Demz?
Nick: [sighs, motions to Demi] Over there
Selena: Whys she alone?
Nick: [looks down, poking at his food] I dont know
Selena: Hey, I know the food heres horrible, but you gotta eat something
Nick: Nah, Id rather not get food poisoning
Selena: [laughs]
Nick: [looks around] [Thinks: I cant do this]
Selena: Cant do what?
nick: huh?
Selena: You just said I cant do this... Whatd you mean?
Nick: Whatre you talking about?
Selena: I dont know... Its like you were in my head
-With Demi-
Demi: [sighs]
-Joe: [in her head] Demi
Demi: [look around] Joe?
-Joe: Demi listen to me
Demi: [looking around for him]
-Joe: Im not there. Im in your head
Demi: [shakes her head, starting to block him]
-Joe: Please dont shut me out. You need an explanation
Demi: [relaxes] You got two minutes
-Joe: [sighs] Im not used to this, having to get in your head to explain. I really like you Demi. But I cant be with you
Demi: Why not?
-Joe: Kevin says we cant trust you, not right now
Demi: [tears start forming]
-Joe: Please dont cry
Demi: [looks down, whispers] I love you Joe
-Joe: One thing I need you to know. Im not dead
Demi: [looks up, sees people looking at her, she leaves the cafeteria] Come
-Joe: I have to go. Kevin doesnt know I can do this
Demi: I need you!
-Joe: And I need you to be strong for me
Demi: When will I see you again? [no response] Joe? Joe?!
Selena: [comes over] Hey
Demi: [softly crying] Sel [hugs her, burying her head into Selenas shoulder]
Selena: Demzi [keeping her stood up]
Nick: [comes over] Demi?
Demi: Nick... Where is he?
Nick: [looks down]
Demi: Why cant he even come to say goodbye?
Nick: I... I dont know Demz
Demi: I never understand you Jonases
Nick: Yeah, neither do we
-Later-Jonas House-
Joe: [in his room]
Nick: [goes in] You contacted her?!
Joe: I had to
Nick: Well that was bloody smart!
Joe: Would you keep it down, Kevin doesnt know I can do that. Thats how Ive been getting to know her
Nick: By getting inside her head? Yeah, smart
Joe: I didnt chose this. I just want to be normal!
Nick: She was bawling her eyes out at school Joe. Really think about this
Joe: I have to see her
Nick: Like you said, you cant go anywhere
Joe: you have no idea how much I hate our parents right now
Nick: I think I do know
Joe: At Least You Can See Her!
Kevin: [comes in] Are you still whining about Demi?
Joe: [looks out his window, to the moon] ... I miss her. Is that such a crime?
Kevin: Uhh no
Joe: Kev, please... Let me see her
Kevin: What good will that do?
Joe: Im not gonna be house bound!
Kevin: Well tough. [leaves]
