As a former regular BASE jumper I can confirm that Felix Baumgartner is not a very well respected name. Usually he just makes site access hard for places where other base jumpers would otherwise have no major problems. Here he ruins it for everyone.
Most base jumpers are very quiet about what they do and stay out of most peoples way. While most jumpers don't seek out permits to do their thing, they don't plaster the shady jumps all over the media, which is what really pisses off authorities.

Hi All,
I am aware i will get a load of insults for this by people who dont really understand the situation. I Have worked for the company who ran this, due to work with them again soon. Majlis al Jinn is a western name given to the cave Khoshilat Maqandeli. There were red bull cans removed from the cave as were there mountain dew and coke. You can still visit the cave, you cannot enter. Due to the ministry's plans to turn it into a show cave with elevator access! i know who will do more damage

@W3JHC I would expect the Red Bull Air Force to be a little more responsible than that. This kind of makes them look like amateur douche bags who don't give a shit about other people who want to jump the same place. But that's how all skydivers/base jumpers are anyways so no surprise
after these guys did the jump without permits the place was put off-limits... i live here and now cannot go and see the place. also i hear you left a bunch of empty cans everywhere on location (that's desert nature), next time think, ok?
