WELL SAID! You took the words straight from my lips and I couldn't agree with you anymore if I tried too. This was in an era of talent and no BS, just straight forward music! Long live my era, the 80's!

@cryptsub - If you are into punk, I can understand why you wouldn't dig this. It's a whole different animal. But to be fair, Quarterflash knew their craft and "Harden My Heart" is still a standard 30 years later. Not bad for a soft rock band from Portland.

@LanceATL 1951 - Rindy Ross born 1951 - couldn't find Marv Ross' birthday. To be fair, all the first generation punks were boomers too.
-
@cryptsub - Actually, The Boomers were born between the end of the war and early 60's. So, wouldn't the majority of them be in their 30's by the time this hit the charts?
-
@LanceATL A baby boomer is a person who was born during the demographic Post-World War II baby boom and who grew up during the 1960s and 1970s.
-
@cryptsub - Baby boomers??? This was the early 80's. What are you talking about?
-
@ibebetn - They sold a couple million of records in the early 80's. They had plenty of push.
-
@ibebetn Her name is Orinda "Rindy" Ross. I disagree with you about Spears and Aguilera; they have talent (especially Aguilera; nobody can wail like her), but Rindy is certainly far more respectable.

good song
I don't know who the lead singer is, but she's multi-talented and sexy as can be. I can't believe someone that good wasn't given more of a push by whatever company they were under contract to. Nowadays the record producers force feed us talentless pieces of fuck like Britney Spears, who can't even lip synch her own material with any skill, or soft core porn performers like Christina Aguilara. No wonder music sucks these days.
