http://www.tm.org Maharishi Mahesh Yogi explains to Malcolm Muggeridge how Transcendental Meditation http://www.tm.org is a simple and natural technique to improve life.

Muggeridge: With all respect I would say to you that from my own point of view.

Maharishi: Of course yes, your own point of view is quite experienced.

Muggeridge: No not really.

Maharishi: Only I say it is experienced on those lines which the world has known so far and which we have to amen because we just can't go on with the idea of suffering and abstainment of life - the world doesn't accept. Too far gone for any modern man of action to accept those ideals of refrainment from.

Around this time Maharishi came contact with The Beatles and they wanted to learn TM.

  • Yes, bliss is better choice than suffering. And effective technique like TM can achive it for us naturally and gracefully.

  • it's great listening to two intelligent people debate deep issues. imagine the depth of discussion if the Greek philosopher, Plato, and Maharishi got together. i reckon they would have agreed on many things.
