  • Very fair point Nuturalable and all I can do as script writer is apologise - I'm a historian concentrating on early medieval history so I think in terms of Constantinople - and I haven't yet travelled in that area or visited Istanbul though I hope to. I'm glad you liked the film though. We hope to do more so all comments and criticisms very gratefully accepted!

  • Absolutely loved it; however as a foreign national and hailed from the East-I couldn’t help but noticing, that the narrator said and I quote; ‘the Viking came from the land of Northern Europe which today we call Scandinavia” she defined clearly that Northern Europe, that known today as Scandinavia; yet when she/he spoke of Constantinople; she/carried right through. The name Constantinople does not exist anymore....
