The H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society presents the video trailer for its 1930s-style radio play of The Shadow Over Innsmouth. The whole story on CD or as MP3 is now available at www.cthulhulives.org
The production sounds great, by all means, but Shadow Over Innsmouth is one HP Lovecraft story that rubs me the wrong way. Everything is explained to the main character, and since the story is told in the first person, everything is being explained to the reader, by extension! Where's the mystery in that?
Just finished listening to "The Dunwich horror" for the umpteenth time, my favourite so far. As soon as some coins come my way i´m gonna try and get this and "The shadow out of time".
I have a question... there is any real old radio theatre show featuring any Lovecraft's tale?? Please reply... Thanks
