  • @brobenz GOD BE THE GLORY! GOD BLESS YOU BOTH.

  • THESE BROTHERS TEAR THIS SONG UP. WHENEVER I THINK OF THE GROUP THIS SONG COMES TO MIND.

  • news years eve in the village... what an amazing time

  • Oh my goodness!!! I forgot how much I love this group!!! Thanks for posting!

  • I saw them a number of times. Mostly in Greenwich Village when it was a place to dream about and to hear great music of all types. I WANT TO GO THERE THROUGH THE SWEETNESS OF TIME. Let me reminisce for awhile. My Lord were they great

  • These guys had a cult following. My brother and I always seemed to be seated next to this very tall Jewish guy and we became accustomed to seeing the same people at most of the concerts. Anybody remember the Cellar door? LOL

  • thumbs up if you think this song should've been longer

  • OH how this brings back sweet memories!! It was my Sophomore year in college when I first heard this back in '73!! I sang lead in a quartet and we sang alot of the Persuasions songs....as they were our inspiration... I LOVE THIS ALBUM!!!! Same year I met the woman who bacame my wife and mother of my four lovely children... Thanks Persuasions.... this song is my JAM!!!!!!!!!!!

  • bmansbr - I, too, have sung on stage with these guys, before they broke up. I was singing way up in falsetto in Still of the Night, next to Jayotis Washington - I went down to harmonize, and he shook his head and pointed up, so I went back up. When we finished, he said, "You was UP there." We talked for a while, and at one point he said, "Maybe it's time to hire a white guy." "I could wear blackface," I suggested. 'No you couldn't!" he answered.

  • I been listening to these songs for over 30 years and eavery time I hear them, they sound better. Thanks for the great sounds and memories of what real music sounds like.
