SFC Week Four Challenge

Support-System Challenge

Your task is to select a person in your life, either a friend or family member, to become your weight-loss coach, partner, or moral support, however you want to look at it. Together, the two of you must work together to create one full meal, including entrée and side dishes, as well as a full 30-60 minute workout session, based on your weight loss plan and calorie intake.

This was a good week for me as I dropped some weight. Also, I have completed several projects I have been working one for the last few weeks. Right now life is stressful, but good.

  • I have to add in there take your measurements! Your P90X program will tell you where to measure and its best to keep track of these results as even if the scale doesnt move I guarantee you are losing inches.   • Hey man, I watched every one on your videos about a month ago and have been checking in on you for updates. To correct chrissept21 muscle is Not heavy. 1 lb of fat weighs as much as 1 lb of lean mass. However Jim, muscle is about 16-22% more dense. Therefore muscle takes up less space. Do not only measure your fitness progress by using your bathroom scale! Whether you are gaining or losing weight, the best indicator of your progress is achieved by measuring your body fat percentage. con't below

  • Even if the bathroom scale reads the same over a period of time, you may be losing unwanted body fat and replacing it with healthy muscle tissue! Which is obviously happening with you as your abilities has increased significantly. Remember you've had significant losses so far and now it may have plateaued. The muscle you have gained will help to burn the fat that remains. Don't lose heart. Keep Pushing Play! Sorry this was so long but this was the very 1st time I felt compelled to reply!

  • I've watched your videos for the past hour or so and really enjoy them. I'm about to get started on the P90 program next week, then the 90X program after that. I know you've been concerned about the weight loss plateau you've hit. Have you tried changing up the actual exercises you're doing? Maybe incorporate some swimming or other cardio into your weight loss program instead of only biking or walking? Just a thought. You've helped to motivate me with your videos, so keep going!! :)
