Sean Booth and Rob Brown appear on the Modulations DVD. Sean picks his nose and talks about their early inspirations. Rob stares at the camera silently and kind of creepily. This is probably the best part of the movie.

  • my mistake, stone in focus to vletrmx

  • @everynickistaken1 Dude. Easy on the herb.

  • That was the most epic nose-pick evar.

I'm surprised that people are comparing Autechre with Aphex Twin. It's a bit like comparing Gatorade with roast beef: two things I like that are totally different.

  • that's freaking bizarre that you use that analogy because that's what I brought for lunch today.

  • anyone can make music. only two people in the world can make music of their caliber.

  • @sweepstakes hahahahahaha

  • I can see why people and things compare Aphex Twin to Autechre, because they're both completely brilliant (no I don't like every tune they made). But also very different from each other.

The only sad thing I find is that even with the internet and everything it is still hard to find such good music, on the other hand when I find it, I can appreciate it so much more. People like them keep the music alive. Greetings.

  • lol I thought aphex was the creepy one, but autechre are fucking mad!

  • i love lego feet

  • LOL@him being a bit of a scouser.

  • i like the description you've made, so true, best part

  • that long and ambient sound of repetition. you have to be deaf to not understand how you can compare stone in focus to rhubarb, not emotionally exactly, but with ambience and essence

  • rhubarb and vletrmx, stone in focus all focus on length of chords when repeated . another similarity
