This Pacific Gopher Snake had followed two others in search of a mouse nest and got entangled in garden netting. By the time they were found, two of the snakes had expired. One was still alive, but it took a lot of effort for WildCare Medical Staff to cut him free!

    I don't think I've ever seen a snake drinking before. I'm glad he's okay, shame about the other two, though.
