@Tobunshi I don't think so. George definitely wrote the song, but the song was sung by John while the Beatles were still together. If you listen to the version the Beatles recorded, and then a recording of George solo, you can hear a distinct difference in the vocals.

While you're right about Paul McCartney doing backup vocals, you're wrong about John Lennon singing this. I'm absolutely 100% sure it's George Harrison.

Eric Clapton is God, at least on guitar. If you’re not convinced, listen to this Take One (all in one take) electric guitar accompaniment and you will be. This is not perfection : this is raunchy, dirty, powerful, expressive, crying, lyrical… everything a guitar solo should be.
