Villa Penguila Imagine Cup 2009 Round 2 Entry

Villa Penguila is a casual mathematical puzzle game for kids of all ages. Our goal is to make learning basics of maths easy and fun, in addition to having the player feel rewarded afterwards.
The basic idea of the game is solving given mathematical problems with numbers falling from the sky. The twist is that falling numbers are rarely the correct ones, so the player has to add them together or divide them first. You have to think fast because there is only a limited time to solve as many problems as possible before night is over and the game is lost!

We have made the technical game design light so it can run on even the slower computers, thus allowing it to run well in developing countries. The game is also heavily branded and can be extended to other products such as sequels and franchising. As an added bonus we have paid special attention to the game being easily localizable and with little more testing runs best on touch screens to make it even more approachable for non-technical children.

We want to provide tools for players who wish to educate themselves independently, and have some fun while at it!
