Hi... I read your comment.. I just want to tell tha u may not know but Qawwalis are an integral part of Pakistan's and south Asia's culture... and music... so no 9/11 or anyhthing cannot change it.. its a part of the society...

this was about 5 yrs back i think. I have another Qawwali Mehfil which was from this March, which i will be uploading very soon Insha Allah.
Bro, Pakistan still has thriving mehfils taking place all over, Milad Un Nabi SAW takes place beautifully everywhere too

Its a form of happiness, rejoicing. When the Qawwal sings a certain line that touches your heart, for example about Allah, the Prophet PBUH, the Awliya Allah, you throw the money in love.
