  • It's really sad that this even needs to be made a point of. Women, nay Americans, should be free to embrace their culture(s) without being ostracized. I think the sooner we being to appreciate what we can learn from our differences culturally, we will become stronger as a country. Rock on ladies and know you have the support of other women, even outside your race, who applaud the bravery and action to stand up and be who you are and express yourselves as you find fit. Kudos.

  • THIS AINT NO NEW LOOK. THIS OUR HAIR. BEEN DOING THIS SINCE BEFORE ANYBODY ELSE ON THIS PLANET WAS AROUND. LOL

  • I applaud the news anchor and applaud Joe-Hannah!! Those are truly inspirational black women!!

  • awesome story!!

  • Good story

  • @Bigpimping808 A true sign of having a short attention span.

  • @TikiTubeable Does the texture matter? They are still wearing weave; something people make it seem as if only black women wear.

  • I'm so happy for Joe-Hannah & her daughter! Beautiful

Natural hair is the ish! Don't let people tell you otherwise. It's soo versatile!

  • I'm in awe about this coverage. I'm so happy to see positive coverage on natural hair. Makes me feel real good about being on this journey the last 6+ years.

  • @Soniya4041 they do but black women just use this manipulation for so they become the majority and others like white women asians etc that used extensions use it to blend with there real hair for length opposed to the fact that black women have a completely different texture than their weaves and relaxers and chemical straighteners

  • Although I'm not against a perm, it's inspiring to see black Americans finally accept themselves as they are.

  • Im going natural ( i have been transitioning for 6 months) and I decided go natural because I am tired of getting chemical burns and damaging my hair.
