i will play no part in the best villain because i think all the FF villains are equally powerful. this whole "who's the most powerful villain" is just stupid...

But Sephiroth is my fave FF villain.

@Zarathustra799 "Wow, this soldier will do any task I want for him no matter how unethical or morally ambiguous it is. Basically Ghestal needed people that would do whatever it takes to ensure that his Empire got what it wanted. Soldiers like Leo put their honor and integrity before their actions, so they weren't as much of an asset as, say, a commander who will gleefully burn down any village you ask him to without questioning you.

@Celeslove138 Kefka is definitely one of the meanest villains, I mean he pretty much launched a Nuclear Bomb on the world. Poisoning the water. It was epic for me as a kid.

@Celeslove138 Kefka's at least honest about what he wants. He doesn't hide behind "Mother retaking the Planet," or anything like that. While Exdeath, Golbez, and Kuja especially, all said that they were going to destroy all life, they had some sort of reason, like revenge, or the world not being around without me in it. Kefka, however... he's just fucking nuts. He'll openly say that he wants to DESTROY DESTROY DESTROY.

To any and all flamers, I still love FF4, 5, 7, and 9.

The thing I love and find most horrifying about Kefka is that when the characters are telling him hope will live on he acts like a child who doesnt want to lose an argument, I even think of his light of destruction like a child frying ants witha magnifying glass and cruelly loving it.

Definitely the best game on the SNES and the best RPG of all time, and one of the greatest games of all time. I love this game so much. everything about it is perfect. why are all the new final fantasys shitty compared to 1-7??
