Ich mag es nicht besonders, wie er seine Konsonanten singt, damit seine Stimme nicht abbricht...ich denke, wenn man in dem Alter ist, sollte man diese Arie nicht mehr singen und sich mehr auf Leporello-Arien oder ähnliches beschränken...

@alllloi Ah yes I know about the lyric. I've the score, I'm sorry, there are some parts wrong (and not because of the lyrics) for example 0:32 the last "LA". Excuse me do you think the "presto" can be sung as worse as here because of the word? 1:09 "AH…" wrong" while it's to congratulate himself! and it's ony the begining! Excuse me but for me one of the best interpretation is by Hermann Prey directed by abado!

I don't like at all! He wants to do more than necessary (longer notes), and it's boring and the voice is not very pleasant to hear, and shouting words! And how he sung the figaros! I don't know how people can be as much enthusiast!

Great!
Of course he wasn't at his best anymore, but who cares? He had a great career, sung with the best and he's teaching young singers now, afaik- a life devoted to music. Just great.
