My class watched this today because we read the watsons go to birmingham.,it was so sad i almost cried when that guy went paralyzed!!!And i loved that part at the end when the lady said "He went into the wheelchair olympics and won gold and died 10 years later.Finally, the ending when they sing "Na na na hey hey hey good bye" :(

It was the fall of 1971. I know. I was there. I was a Sophomore. We went 13 and 0. Many games we shut the other school out. There was only one close game all year against Marshall High in Vienna, VA. I probably attended 8 or 9 games. The last one I saw was against Annadale in the northern regional finals. Annadale had a rich football tradition and we beat them 27-0.
