The new LP, set for release next month, features a selection of covers of Roy Orbison classics, and according to his label Sony Music, Damien's album is the only official new recording of Roy material that will be released as part of the 75th anniversary celebrations of Roy Orbison. Roy's wife Barbara Orbison given Damien her full blessing and support coming on board for the project, signing on as executive producer 'Roy' is available from Friday April 15.

Every time Damien sings "Crying" he brings the house down. An entire album of Orbison's music sung in his gloriously angelic voice is totally mouthwatering! Can't WAIT!

I was lucky enough to go to one of his many big sellout concerts where he sang songs from Roy and some of his own original songs, stunning voice even better live, he had standing ovations and the loudest cheering i've ever heard. Thankyou Damien for your voice of an angel

Sounds like another great tribute cd..I don't care if Mrs. Orbison or Sony thinks this is the only Official endorsed CD...Roy's son Wesley's opinion counts as much Official to me, in fact even more then their opinion so I'll be buying John Stephan's album which is endorsed and fully supported by Wesley Orbison, Roy's son from his marriage to Claudette, his one and ONLY Pretty Woman. And if I can afford it, I might buy this one too. Thanks for respecting Roy and paying Tribute!

Sorry, but who the fuck does Damien think he is. Just to go off and re-record a legends list of hits to earn himself some funds because his career never took off. The only people who should does this, are singers who knew Roy and have successfully made it on their own. Like Chris Isaak and Bruce Springsteen etc etc. When Buck Owens passed away, Dwight Yoakam re-recorded some of his hits, and so he should. They had a history. Imagine if it was some nobody from American Idol. Disrespectful Damien!

Winner's Journey (astounding)> Where We Land (gorgeous) > Catch the Wind (atmospheric)> Remember June (so brilliant!!) > Roy (fun & stunning)... so I've got a feeling that another fantabulous original will be next dededom!
