We are one of your biggest markets (ask your own dept of trade and industry of your equivalent) bigger than china and brazil put together. By "helping us out" as you call it u are protecting your own economy, 2. I personally look upon the "dig out" as no more than war reparations for the centuries of English rule & oppression including causing the famine in the 1840's which more than 1/2ed the population

@andyowens01 The Irish economy is in shit due to german banks taking a punt on the bond markets principally investing in the banks (ie private not sovreign debt, same as betting on a horse) instead of the irish government guaranteeing thiese bond holders we should have let the banks sink
