  • Ill answer my own questions.

    1. Patient Impact Automatic Exposure Control (AEC) failure too much or too little X-Ray cant be good.

    2.Customer Impact see above (lawsuit?).

    3.Company resources consumed by a defective product. No inovation.

    4.Just guessing 75%+

    5.Yes - due to collimator failure.

    6.Just guessing - None artful dodgers who pushed this POS out the door moved on to other positions disavow all knowledge while scapegoats have been identified and RIFed.

    1. What is the potential patient impact of this AEC defect?

    2. What is the cost to the customer (lost time & productivity as well as money)?

    3. What is the cost to GEHC?

    4. What percentage of the install base is this?

    5. Have there been previous recalls related to the D5K?

    6. What steps have been taken to prevent similar problems in the future?
