  • MAAAN!!! NO ONE CARES ABOUT HIS CLOTHES!! GO TO HIS FINGERS N STAAAY THERE!!

    *uppercuts camera man* "SHORYUUUKEN!!"

  • his technique comes so naturally to him, and he plays everything with such technical ease that he is very very free in terms of what timing he wants to do, and how he leads the phrase, without technical difficulties getting between that and him. Many pianists, no matter how well they play the piece, still seem like they are being somewhat controlled by the technical dangers of this piece in their musicality.

  • God damn he's better than god I think. You know every pieces he played and transcribed were all magnificent not only in his technic of playing but also expressing his emotion.

  • every time he plays in the video with his head tilted back and eyes closed, i do the same, but jizz my pants in shock.

  • his delivery is about as good as it gets.

  • Cziffra pacticing........ a treat fit for the gods!

  • @chopinjierong I bet he can play anything :>

  • i bet he can play all of liszt pieces!!!

  • Cziffra starts off at such a fast tempo (listen to his full recording on YouTube) that you can't believe that he will be able to actually advance the tempo as Liszt calls for, but somehow he is able to do that and stay in control. Cziffra has his detractors, but I am not one of them. He was born to play Liszt. Someone here equated Valentina Lisitska's technique to Cziffra's but that is just wishful thinking. He was one of the greats of the 20th Century.

  • A Világ legnagyobb Liszt zongoristája volt!

  • Czifra is so natural you'd think piano is playing all by itself. He illustrates exactly what Mozart meant when he said "It (piano playing) must flow like oil". Thanks for sharing!

  • @prestomoltoagitato I agree. Watch berezovsky's trascendental etudes in youtube (specially mazeppa).. probably the best angle ever... and it isn't harder to do.. just put the effing camera in the right place.. why nobody does that?! D:
