This is a video of a 2000 Chevy Tahoe which was run almost exclusively on E85 Ethanol for over 100,000 miles. The amazing thing is that this is NOT a Flex Fuel vehicle-it was not Flex Fuel ready from the factory. They probably used an E85 conversion kit, but do not mention this in the video. The Tahoe's engine was taken apart and inspected. The results prove that E85 will not harm a standard engine, fuel pump, fuel lines and other components of the fuel system. The results showed that the engine was in excellent condition. So we highly recommend that everyone use E85 however we do not recommend running a standard vehicle without an E85 converter kit. If you would like to learn more about an E85 converter kit for your vehicle, please visit http://www.change2e85.com.

  • "I dont understand why people think it is going to hurt the farming industry! most farms dont even use the majority of their fields... It will create more jobs and boost the farming industry!"

Not only that, but if we were really worried about needing more land for ethanol crops we could simply ban tobacco--the most useless crop ever made--and then have more land than we could ever use. Of course the downside would be lower health care costs...oh...wait....

  • @circusboy90210 If you are going to put your uninformed opinions on the web, be prepared to provide evidence. You have none. You will be challenged here with hard facts.

  • @circusboy90210 We have converted over 250,000 vehicles world wide. Please direct us to just one person that has bought our kit, or another kit, and their fuel lines corroded away. There has to be just one unhappy customer out there. Since you are the expert on fuel lines, can you please point us to your research.

  • @MrDANIELDMARTINRIOS ...and their economy is growing and there are tons of jobs and hot sexy women.

  • @crazzzzy420 You will need to buy a conversion kit.

  • @circusboy90210 Some fuel lines? Name one type. FYI - one of our conversion systems is EPA Certified. Do you really think the EPA would give us a Certification if it corroded fuel lines?

  • @change2E85 this is not a myth. it also corrodes some fuel lines.

  • Hey Snaple07, I have a 91 Ford Probe GL 2.2L that I have been running on E85. I bought the kit from Change2E85. I didn't buy the cold start version and regret that part of it. It doesn't have to be cold out either. if you want to run 100% E85, get the cold start. The kit is just a passive device that takes your injector input from the computer and increases the injector open time what around 15-20%

  • @DarkLinkAD hey i got a 98 corolla 1.8 will it work on my car 2 fill it up ?

  • @makeshift78 Ethanol does not. That is a myth. Methanol can eat seals in some fuel pumps.

  • ethanol can eat through seals and fuel delivery systems
