Kiri started her career by winning a New Zealand prize in 1965 aged 20/21 with this aria. Just to be able to deliver this performance 22 years later is amazing. It is more of a strain for her now but you'd hardly know it. -- from another "damekirilover"

Kiri is so wonderful, I wonder why she chose to dress like a quarterback at the Superbowl. I know that women can multi task, but surely there is a limit. By the way, Brava. I do also love Tebaldi , Callas and others. The debate as to who is best is meaningless. Every great artist has earned their place in heaven

Kiri's Top Notes are so crazy! wish she would have given the A dimunendo some more omph instead of making it piano. It needed to be more dramatic.
