A comic documentary starring Dudley Sutton.
Who creates the pensioner? Why are there so many euphemisms for the word old? What is it that society fears that we ignore, patronise and stereotype old people?
As a child, actor Dudley Sutton was forever being told to act his age. Now aged 77 he feels its time to challenge the roles that, as an actor and as an individual, he is expected to play. Mixing documentary, drama, animation, polemic and poetry this colourful film does just that: questioning western society's perceptions and prejudices about age and subverting the conventions of how old people are meant to behave.
Don't think it's wrong to laugh, but remember at the same time that, with luck, we will all be old one day

Sad story but at the same time funny. Is it OK to laugh or would that mean that I have a mean streak? I can laugh at myself. Is it wrong to laugh at you?
