A review of the K31 Swiss Rifle. Issued between 1931 and 1958, this rifle is a very nice, very accurate bolt-action rifle.

  • Kicks like a mule, you say? Interesting and informative commentary on the K31! But after firing my newest addition, the awesome K31, I must say that it doesn't kick anywhere NEAR as hard as my K98 Mauser and Mosin Nagant shooting popular ammo

  • @GrizzlyRecoveryZone1 Yeah, the Mosin Nagant blammomatic certainly does kick (and gives off a LOT of percussion when fired). But the K31 isn't very forgiving. Not in the least.

  • Do they make one in .308?

  • No, they do not. However, they are VERY ballistically similar to the .308, and as such, a number of reloaders use .308 bullets when reloading for the K31.

  • Nice video, I just got my first K31 about a month ago and am absolutely in love with the rifle.

  • Amen to that! I'll never sell mine. Ever.

  • You talk a looot :-((

  • how much does this rifle generally cost? and, is it worth paying the high price for the original ammo, or would i damage it eventually by using .308?

  • holy crap! just bought one last week.....i can shoot the wings of a fly with it no problem.......and the best part is my friend has a k98, and he is super jealous of my rifle

  • Great review.

  • NIce Video, Mate...Army Service still is mandatory in Switzerland to this day.

    Greetings from Switzerland

  • You just have to buy Parvi Partizan brass and reload your own or you can resize 284 Winchester. Thanks for sharing.

canadiangunnutzYcom (substitute Y for a period).

That's where I get almost all my firearms. I must have bought at least 17 from that site already. It's where you can buy, sell, or trade firearms with other Canadians. There's everything from old historic rifles, to brand new Glocks/berettas, to modern accurized rifles, to shotguns, to... EVERYTHING lol You just need your PAL.
