@morgasm36 I have always allowed my budgies and other birds to fly around my house. I have never had this happen, but maybe if you scared them enough they might fly into a window. I made sure my birds felt safe and knew they were near their cage. Most of the time they stayed on or in their cage anyway.

i have four parakeets, but there is one i really want. i am kind of overwhelemed with the ones i have, and i need a bird owner's advice. since you have seven, what do you thin i should do? and how do you give them all human interacton! wow! thats alot

@mbas97 They mostly interact with each other. The ket is having a safe large space for them to fly around, like a spare room or aviary.

i just got my parakeet yesterday and he already sits on myhand and shoulder adn stuff and roams freely around the house, but he hasnt chirped untill i found ur vid. i raed that them hearing other birds chirp make hinm want to chirp to wich is actually true. however, i think it would be cool if you can make a longer vid

you can prevent window crashes by putting blinds on the windows and keeping them closed when the birds are out. it gives the birds something to land on and cling to if there scared.also never try to catch them midair.
