Harvest Moon Magical Melody - Secret Ending (Jamie's Ending)

If you marry your rival in Magical Melody, you will recieve this secret ending. This is a very difficult way to clear the game, because fulfilling the normal marriage requirements alone will not work.

I don't think there is a way to trap yourself into saving where you can't continue your game. If you give your blue feather to Jamie and then save, you can always just give it to someone else without going to the Harvest Goddess to ask her to help you propose to Jamie.

The other secret ending is to gather every musical note in the game. I call this the "Meek Heart Ending." I erased my previous file, but I will try to get a video of that when I complete my new (third) file.

HOW TO MARRY JAMIE:

To marry your rival, you must get him or her to 8 or more hearts (just give a crop from your farm every day, you'll have 10 hearts before you complete all the other requirements). You also have to ship one of every crop in the game -- this includes the secret crop Strawberries. You also must have the Animal Kingdom Note and Birth of Life Note (Have a full barn of 8 animals, make sure at least one of them was born on your farm with a Miracle Potion. Some people say you must have at least one cow, sheep, and horse each born on your farm this way. Doesn't hurt to go ahead and try all if you're going for this ending from a new file). You also must have collected 50 notes total and resurrected the Harvest Goddess.

I really like this ending a lot. I think it's weird that the ending talks about Kurt and Dia's wedding. I wonder if you can get different versions of this ending? This is the only time I've cleared the game this way, so I am not sure. In the Japanese version, Kurt and Dia can get married during the game, so I wonder if this ending changes if they get married first. Hopefully the UK version will include rival marriages so some members of the GameFAQs board can test it!

Only question I have is: .. Can you still play the game, and does it stay in the same area -- Though it says he's going to take you somewhere and the harvest princess and stuff can't see them? That's what that gates for? ;-;

@Krissytuh No, the game ends at this point. If you want to play more, you have to load your last save. So you can never play Jamie and then continue the game.

okay i'm on my first year and in fall and i'm already married to alex. so i have to finish the game the normal way i guess. but when do i get pregnant? i really wante to have a kid in this game. and does this mean that if jamie is a boy, then if your a boy player...can you still marry jamie? im confused.....

@ayuya17 You get pregnant like a few seasons after getting married, then it takes 3 seasons to have the baby. I had a baby with Gina and Bob in two different files, but I don't remember the exact time it takes, sorry. But it's a little while, so just keep playing.

If you're a boy, Jamie is a girl. If you're a girl, Jamie is a boy. I know, it's messed up.

@SuperWatch111 I don't have the marriage note yet in this file. You only need to rescue the Goddess to marry Jamie. It only takes 50 notes. You can still be missing half of them :)

@kandb4evr if you play as a girl he is a guy, if you play as a guy he is a girl. This is so you can always marry him/her

The girl is the Harvest Goddess. You unlock her by collecting 50 notes

If you marry Jaimie then Your gay ( in the game :P ) beacause Jamie is both so...even if your a boy or girl and marry Jamie, Jamie is both so baisecly jame is ether your gender when u marry him/her :P. END OF STORY ...... now im gonna go get yelled at for typeing more than 240 characters...
