I guess you don't listen to John Kelly? Or Federko? Or the Lightning's announcing team? Yikes. If Wilson is bad, I'd like to know who you consider good.

Thanks for the information, I appreciate it! I remember first being able to watch lots of hockey on the USA network in the 80's. As they would show different games, sometimes I would get lots of Doc Emerick and Bill Clement, sometimes the great Dan Kelly, but Ken WIlson stood out to me as well!

wow thanks for posting this ....just being transposed from texas that year in april 1986 and only having seen olympic hockey i was introduced to NHL overtime playoff hockey. i never got to see the end of that game... every year since and up until the overtime rule change NHL hockey had more balls and excitement than all other sports combined. redwings vs rockies... oh god the good old days.... the blues vs blackwings oh god more fights in the croud than in the arena.. i miss the rivalry

This was such a competitive series, which was a real treat for Blues fans as we probably beat Calgary 2-3 times the entire decade in the regular season. The 80s were brutal for the Blues against the western Canadian franchises.

At least Calgary won game 7. Calgary probably would have won a couple Stanley Cups in the 80s if they didn't have to face the 80s Edmonton Oilers every playoff.

Calgary wouldn't have even made it that far if Edmonton didn't have that infamous screw-up against them.

Calgary won Game 7 by 2-1 score. Flames then lost Cup finals to Montreal.
