Walking out on a mat, in front of your team, your coaches, your peers, your family, and all of God and Heaven, and risking your pride against an opponent who is doing the exact same thing, is SO rewarding. All the training, all the learning, all the hard work. It’s all worth it when you push yourself harder than the other guy on the mat. It’s the greatest feeling in the world. Knowing everything you put into yourself, all for 6 minutes on a mat. It’s amazing.

yea i have cauliflower ear to. And i got it my last year of wrestling too, haha what luck. And the funny thing is before i got it, I was making fun of some of my teammates who had it as well. The draining sucked and I can no longer wear in-ear music buds to listen to music, so i HAVE to wear over the ear headphones which kinda suck. But if you ask me if I would be willing to do it ALL over again. HELL YEA
