In Kodiak, there is a company called Ocean Beauty. Maybe you made a mistake calling it Ocean Blue. Yes you can work 18 hours most of July and August if you want because they get very much fish deliveries then and they must keep up with the fishermen. 18 hours is only allowed when they are very busy, because they must pay "overtime" wages in the USA. From the end of August until November, you will probably get 12 hrs minimum each day. That is less but still about $600 each week.

This is a factory that cuts up and freezes about 250 tons of fish every day. From July- October they are busy 24/7. Day and night shifts both work. A shift is 16 hrs during July and 12 hrs after July, because more fish arrive then. It is smelly, boring, hard work, but most newcomers accustom to it. You can work in the freezer area if you want. It is not as disgusting as the rest of the factory. If you want a job, come to Kodiak in early June and bring painkillers! Pay averages +- $100/day.
