@Tdaz250 on my grandparents 2007 Chevy Tahoe LTZ, you try to remote start it with the hood popped... The well known GM chime dings about 4 times and it won't start. It is most likely a security feature.

No diesel truck is complete until it has wide load mirrors.

Not sure about hitting the brake...but when you try and pop the hood it shuts it off

@NissanTitanFreak It was a V6.....until the new body style(2010+), the only option was the 3.4l V6. Just traded that one in on a 2011 Equinox with the 4 cyl though. So far it is great......very good on gas.
