  • @JimmyTheGreek2000 You don't know what you're talking about. Rembetiko was born in Anatolia, where it borrowed from Turkish traditions, as well as Arab ones. In fact, "rembetiko" is a TURKISH word that means "the gutter". Greeks have borrowed from cultures around them for centuries, creating new traditions. It shows how peoples with similar experiences learn from each other and grow. Especially where music is concerned. Down with nationalism!
