One of the more entertaining of the gazillion "Driving in Ireland" videos on youtube. This one is humorously instructive -- well, humorous anyway...relatively. Shot outside of Dublin, on the M1 and around the Burren. Music is from this video, Breogán Música Celta, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yF1OxLcKTl0

  • Aaaaaaa ballyvaughan, second home ;) Were those red gates the tea rooms?? Love this video :) Hope you enjoyed your stay :)

  • @XxXgerardsgalXxX We had a great time. That part of the country is beautiful. The gates are in front of the holiday cottage we rented -- called Katie's Cottage and associated with the Oceanville Bed & Breakfast. It was very cozy and convenient with a spectacular view over the bay. (Thanks for the positive feedback as well.)

  • the donkey is the best :)

  • @29Essan That was a bit of a shock when the donkey emerged from the herd and we totally cracked up. Then it became obvious that the donkey was in charge! Hilarious.

  • What a truly beautiful country we have. Next time head for west Cork a county thats a country in itself take the coast roads to Kerry do the Dingle penninsula the gap of Dunloe etc now thats scary, but what an experiance. Would love to see WRC or Top Gear there or maybe myself without the Wife (ARGHHHHH slow down!!) (the Lads loved it!!!)

  • @dustysailor1 We did stay in West Cork on an earlier visit -- rented a house in Clonakilty. We had a great time, but there is so much to see in that part of the country that a week was not enough. It is beautiful -- Kinsale, Inchidoney beach, etc.

  • @MsAnneThrope59 Wait, Ol' Head of Kinsale? You went there? There really are days I would rather live in Ireland or another part of Europe. The USA is not a good place these days.

  • sunglasses!!?wtf?what part off ireland were you at?

  • I loved driving in Ireland...the narrow twisty roads made it feel like a roller coaster at times.

  • Oh god, you should try to drive in India next! Now, that would be a great video to see as well!

  • the donkey is the farmer haha

  • @MsAnneThrope59 lol nice clip, i enjoyed watching it. it was like going on a vacation.
