Only two months or so ago, I saw one of her ukulele banjos up for auction. It was a Gibson (the guitar company) and it was a beautiful instrument. It sold for an awful lot of money. It's just lately, through YouTube, that I've learned of her and George Formby. She, and Formby, defined the word "entertainer". I'm American and glad to find out about them. In a nutshell they were just fun and enjoyable to watch. They kept you riveted, upbeat, happy and laughing.
