@vermis1 buy an external usb dvb-t tuner for free to air hdtv (or a hd-homerun network based tuner) etc.

now, one question for this wannabe home theater system. how do I connect my cable signal and display or record my tv programs? there's no tuner nor place for it in the box

Can the remote be used to load say the web browser and other windows programs or just for media center ??

it would be amazing if the bring out ion 2 graphics( 9800 gtx) and quad core atom processor.... it still saves electricity... but it would be amazingly strong..... and if they put 8 gb.... raid o..... and make it under 650$ it would be worth buying it.... lol

Awesome package! I got mine gen 1 model a few months ago, wish I could just switch right away to gen 2..
any news about the ION V2? Maybe I'll better wait for that chip before I buy a new one... right?

There's no real difference between the original ION330 and the ION330HT !!
ASRock bundle in a MCE Remote, but if you have the original ION330 with a MCE Remote, then they're the same.
I wouldn't run a HTPC over WiFi.
The only other differences are the EU-regulated power consumption, and external eSata connection.
