  • David Lee Roth looks like he is in the shed gardening :/

  • EDWARD?? dude whats up with you calling him that!! ARE YOU HIS FATHER?!? They dont seem too upset to me.... then again I wasnt alive til 91 so I wouldnt know

  • Being a son of Zappa's you can just fart your way into these jobs...

  • @jamminjohn I agree, I use music as a reminder of the important things. Helps me get through tough times and appreciate what I have. It also may give people the strength to stand up for themselves and do the right thing. Don't get me wrong I party my ass off and I love having fun but when it comes to music, the happy pop songs on the radio seemed to be crushed by the deeper artistic music I listen to. Again I know what you mean, so we can both agree on that, not saying one is better.

  • @VHDT10 Yeah, we can agree on Halen. I just like Dave for the opposite reasons you like Sam. I like the Roth era exactly because he didn't focus on stuff like that. It was a party atmosphere and I like that for an escape from everyday life. I use music as an escape not a reminder.

  • @jamminjohn I haven't seen Roth live but I saw Sammy and he spoke about things that matter in the world and I know Roth wouldn't have done that. I just personally like his musicianship and style much more than David's. I'm sure we can all agree, though, that VH was one of the best bands to ever come out in the history of mankind.

  • @VHDT10 The problem is... I was there! I saw Hagar doing that stuff and singing off key or struggling with high notes. Spam ain't perfect. People give Roth a hard time about his performance but go easy on Spam when I've seen his foul ups live. Roth is a better showman bar none! I've seen both in action. It's a personal thing when it comes to taste. We differ on this and that's what makes the world go round.

  • @jamminjohn No Sammy was a good singer so he didn't have to learn sword tricks to keep people loving the music. But ice cream is a really deep subject maybe DLR has a point.

  • @VHDT10 So what's Sam's excuse? How much did the log rolls, jumping jacks and running in place add to Sam's performance?

  • @jamminjohn well doing karate doesn't make you a good singer. In fact someone might do that to make up for how cheesy their singing is.
