Mac OS X running successfully on my dell vostro 1400

Mac OS X is great and run so smoothly on my laptop. I have dual OS : Windows 7 and Mac OS X. Both are working very well.

I have installed iatkos v7 on my dell vostro 1400 successfully.It also nicely boot with windows 7.But when i start it,a screen with apple logo and grey colour is appeared.After sometime a blue screen is appeared for a while and then screen got blank forever.But interestingly sound of welcome is on without display.my sound control buttons are also working.

I have done mistake in selecting driver.please give me list of which driver to select for my dell vostro 1400.It is intel 965 chipset family.

@darshanmodh when screen is blank, try to press " Fn + ESC". Hope it works for you :)

what is the difference between iATKOS 5i and iATKOS v7?

I have installed windows 7 on my Dell vostro 1400.Can I install iATKOS 5i?

And how to do the partition of my HDD?

@darshanmodh I don't know 5i version. V7 works with my vostro. Of course, you can install both mac os x and Windows 7 or xp, even you can install all of them on your computer like i have done. As long as each operation system must have a different partion.

i try to install iatkos v7 on different latop, but same graphics intel GMA965.

on installation i chose intel GMA950 laptop, but now screen resolution just 1024x768, it's can't change to 1280x800.

can u give me tutorial to change screen resolution? @azulgranas248

@azulgranas248 heyy,it's really work.

now i have only problem with audio.

i selected voodooHDA.kext at setup,but sound is crashed. So i delete that kext file.

please give me a proper kext file for sound.

I have sigmatel 9228 driver in windows.

please help me....Reply soon.

I want to install iATKOS on that partition.Which file sysytem is required for iATKOS?

And how to boot iATKOS DVD?

It would be nice if for once people would actually show which drivers they selected at the Customize screen during install to get it up and running

@gessto1 i think v7 is newer than v1, so it contains more driver for you. I think you should try v7. Install Mac OS on pc is quite hard work so you must try some different versions. I have intel core 2 duo T5780 processor. Just try! Good luck!
