@usupermega therefor the original contract will continue until energex decides to get a reading.the manager i spoke with asked me if i would prefer he lied and stated that the contract was terminated.is this really how to do business?also legally origin has the right to continue the contract regardless,until the quarter billing period is completed.im now currently paying electricity for a house im not living in,yes my termination was suppose to be effective as of a week ago.WTF?

@usupermega unfortunatly energex were not able to give me any more info regarding my account and told me to contact origin.so looks like ill be getting a bill worth a couple of thousand dollars over the quater seeing as the estimate over 5 weeks was $500+.

im yet to be sent a bill and when i rang energex they informed me that the account is still active and the new persons account is active also as of the same time i posted the original comments,as i have the connectin date.

ive since spoke to a friend that use to practice law and have started documenting dates and conversations.

origin is a scam thats run on lies and deception,im disgusted and appalled at the lack of business ethics there management conducts.everyone should boycott this company,do you know if you cancel your contract upon moving house not only do you receive a disconnection fee,but if another person takes a contract at the same residency you will continue the original contract because origin has a policy were a new contract takes priority of the terminated contract,
